OK, I just f*cked up testing, used the HDMI of a device that was connected to my AMP via Coax digital audio cable, so no sound was pretty normal

I've nailed it down to upstreaming Linux versions, somewhere between stock 3.0.31 and 3.0.67 sound stops working.

That's a good thing, now I have something to work on

Excellent news on the front of MHL adapter users !!

MHL sound is back working just fine in 3.3b-beta2 which you can download from the link below !

The problem was one tiny little change in Linux 3.0.40 :

Otherwise if someone tries to use all four channels on AIF1 with the
device in master mode we won't be able to clock out all the data.

Nope, that was enough time-consuming for today, especially to find that just 1 number had to be changed for it to work again

About the lag issues related previously:
I reinstalled the kernel (the beta1) and selected LKM to stock, OC on 1,5 MHz, excluded zram swap, don't selected boeffla and deleted those files: 00sotmax and local.prop.
Works perfectlly and more fast!
So, i think that the lag that i found in 3.3a are a result of bad selection on aroma.
