in you opinion.. what is the best 4.3 rom right now?

I'll have a look.

Best ROM, I don't think there really is such a thing ;)

When it's best for me, it may not be for you ... I've only played around little, and so far only tested Wanam's, so I'll be of bad advice ... WanamLite 7.2 is running just fine for me, good enough that I would stay on it if I still used my SGS3 as a daily phone, if that helps.

JP.

When its good for you its best for me!
last question, what is the best choich for zram? (zram size and disks)

Honestly, no ... what the cleaning script does is just remove a few files, the kernel flasher does that as well :(

What do you have when you type "cat /proc/swaps" in terminal ?

JP.

Nothing... just a bunch of blanks. Take a look

Aha ! ;)

That means that in fact you do not have any active zram ... wonder what the app is showing, then ?!

Do you have a properly installed busybox ?

Nope, you need it ;)

Post your "/system/etc/init.kernel.sh" file.

Anyone else have an issue with Handcent SMS and the notification LED being permanently lit when a message is received? Handcent isn't using any custom LED settings. Email LED notifications however work just fine.

Also the smartstay icon is permanently on in the taskbar. Not sure if the ss camera is actually on,but still a bit odd?

No one else has this then? Such a shame, I love this kernel over stock but the LED being perm on when i receive a txt is a big problem for me :/ Strange why it even happens?

Have you considered changing the LED settings in Aroma ?

OK, try executing these manually in a terminal and post the result :

Code: Select all
  swapoff /dev/block/zram0
  echo 1 > /sys/block/zram0/reset
  echo 314572800 > /sys/block/zram0/disksize
  echo 1 > /sys/block/zram0/initstate
  mkswap /dev/block/zram0
  swapon /dev/block/zram0
