Provide these files :

/system/etc/init.kernel.sh
/data/kernel-boot.log

And I may be able to help out.

In my case:

Sotmax V15 + 3.3a = lag
Sotmax V15 + 3.3 = ok
V16 + 3.3b = OK

Do meu S3 (ROM Sotmax)
LG Nexus 5 - Stock ROM - Yank555's kernel of course

Lag by only changing from 3.3 to 3.3a is not possible, there's almost no difference, only that in standby the governor is kept more aggressive in fact ?!

3.3b-beta is just an update to newer Linux base, should not make a big difference either. 3.3b is far from done, it's just a opening act for 3.3b as I said earlier ;)

I'll test if some set in aroma installer cause the lag.

Die you use the 'lock in memory' option in ROM Aroma ? What about LMK, swap ?

Well then it's normal :(

Delete these two files and reboot :

  • /data/local.prop
  • /system/etc/init.d/00sotmax

And that'll undo the sotmax lock in memory option will it? That's a great feature but if I'm using JKay I might as well user the whitelist option in there :)
