Lag by only changing from 3.3 to 3.3a is not possible, there's almost no difference, only that in standby the governor is kept more aggressive in fact ?!
3.3b-beta is just an update to newer Linux base, should not make a big difference either. 3.3b is far from done, it's just a opening act for 3.3b as I said earlier
