EDIT
tried cleaning cache of gallery and camera (and from recovery cache and dalvik)but no results...

I had read about this in Wanam thread, can't tell you much more than it's working fine on mine, WanamLite 7.2, and it seems to be working fine for many...

Someone suggested to cleanflash Wanam, boot full stock, run camera once, and then only install a different kernel. While I don't really see what that would change, why not give it a whirl ?

JP.

ehm xD... i restored the nandroid of neatrom 5.3...maybe i give a try in future(probably on a future release from samsung)...

Trickstermod says no but that can be wrong I guess

Well full default in both cases would be :

Stock PegQ 300Mb zram
Mine PegQ (since you were talking about PegQ, default would be zzmoove) 600Mb zram

Rather strange, though...

Since all reports except yours say the opposite, e.g. stock would lag, while you say stock is flying, I'm somewhat confused :?

I can't say, since I made the kernel blind and never actually tested the ROJ with stock kernel myself... will try to test stock kernel to compare.

I just downed the yank 4 kernel zram to 300 and it seems better.

Mine also lags when coming out of sleep mode but after the home screen wakes the It is faster.
But now with 300 it seems better. I don't have a spare s3 to test stock now. . Only from what I remember

Although the battery is fully charged the red led still shines. Is it normal in Your kernel or am I did something wrong?

Hmm ... have you tried to just clear gallery / camera data ?

It's working just fine here, even burst mode.

I've removed touch wiz launcher and now your the phone it's faster. . Why? Beats me. .

Maybe it something else like background stuff like trimm or something else. Even with zzmove and 600mb of zram and it's with less stutters.

Hi guys I have a problem with zram. I've set it to 300mb in the installer with 80 swappiness, but when I check to see of its active, it says that it's not being used ?
It says compressed size=0bytes, total zram disk size= 314,572,800 bytes and compression ratio=0%
Did I do something wrong ? Or has it just not been activated? thanks for any help !
