yank555 wrote:Well that would require using many if not all of Andrei's mali commits, plus add stweaks support just because of screen adjustments, and I don't want to add all of that, especially now we have updated mali drivers on CM10.1, it would more require a rewrite of what he did than just use the commits.

So I'm afraid on that end you will have to live with what Samsung and CM provide on screen settings.

Hi YANK555, this is the best CM10 documented kernel for the I9300 I ever saw, thanks to bring it alive here.
Galaxy S3 16GB

PhilZ Touch 4.90.8 (6.0.3.0)
ICS Bootloader XXBLFB
Slim-4.2.2-build-3-OFFICIAL

Defunct: HTC TyTN II WM 6.0

Using 1.5c and Boeffla-Sound Engine 1.6 I have noticed that it really does make the sound terrific on CM 10.1, but I cannot enable my speaker with the headphones plugged in unless I disable the sound engine or unplug the headphones.

Just to let you know.

Thanks for the great kernel! Best custom kernel I've used on my S3 so far!

Edit: It was actually my fault. I enabled the feature which muted the speaker in the Sound Engine. Disabled the setting, now speaker works perfectly!

I love this kernel, I got a excellent battery life at 1.5ghz.
Tested on Carbon ROM nightly mar15, been using the phone the entire day, pretty smooth and stable.
Just my little review :)

That is a feature called privacy mode, if you want stock behaviour with the engine active, just disable privacy mode ;)

Hello! to start sorry for my google translate english! :) Hello from Russia! For me, the cernel of your best, but really lacks the ability to independently set undervolting. In the car, on the phone and at the same time using the DVR, navigator, music through the aux and calls :) Because of this load phone overheats, before I used the undervolting and this was no problem!
Please make this feature, I read your opinion on this issue, but it really helps with long heavy loads to avoid overheating and errors in the device!

Heat is indeed the only valid reason for UV, yet the instability risks are really too high for my taste :(
