used both. boeflla that works does not work. Temasek v79

Consider the app to always win. Best is to make a decision and set options only using one method.

Ok, I've done a longer "sleep" test for WiFi on the latest kernel 1.5c, and I can't say I can reproduce the issue...

I've tried also, and I cannot. I have heard discussions that it's actually network dependent. I'm running 1.5c just fine!

IMPORTANT QUESTION

I'm about to update the CM10.1 kernel to the latest changes applied to the Samsung kernel, but :

Should I keep the WiFi changes CM introduced which I added in 1.5c ?

Or should I for now revert back to 1.5b and add the latest changes of the Sammy kernel on that base ?

since some people saying with default cm and latest driver, there's no wakelock
so "might be" some combination causing some weird issue.

just update to latest wifi driver and we will test? but it's just for me..XD

Well 1.5c contained the latest updates (backport wifi from 3.4.y mainline Linux).

I'm almost done with 1.5d, for now it's at the mose updated CM10.1 level, so including the wifi backport.

If it makes trouble, I'll make a 1.5d2 without the wifi backport.

I suggest you try out my personal settings for a change (zram enable using new zCache).

Changelog CM10.1 v1.5d :

  • staging: android: lowmemorykiller: Add config option to support oom_adj values (Arve Hjonnevag, via faux123)
  • updated zcache (via faux123)
  • activated cleancache and zcache (always active, not switchable)
  • updated to kernel.org Linux 3.0.70
  • updated ramfs to latest CM10.1 nightly (20130323) - fixes cifs mounts to not show content
