Oh yes, big time fail !

First, it's not faster than the Note 3, second its CM11S is just as CAF crap loaded as hlte CM11 making it not THAT stable.

BUT !

My device died on me after 48h ! Faulty emmc.

While that can happen, what cannot is customer service (which is selfclaimed to be the best) taking 1 full work week to actually tell me to fastboot flash the factory images (which I tried BEFORE opening the service request), and closing the SR ?!

Worst ever service !

In a market where devices are obsolete withing 6 months, you need customers to come back regularly to survice, their breaking their neck this way.

And their flagship killer so far just killed itself !

To survive in such a competitive market you need to actually sell devices (crappy invite system ?!) before the competition pushes the next gen flagships, which will be the case in less than 2 months (Samsung Note 4), while others are there already (LG G3)...

And the yellow banding on the display is a known issue, which they still did not correct in the production process, that is a BIG FAIL ! And they tell their customers that was normal and not an issue ... for a device again that self-proclaimes to have the best calibrated display ?? On 75% of the screen, maybe ;)

So yes, BIG FAIL it is.

And also a totally undeserved hype made by the Cyanogen Inc. name and invite system making it like a huge "honor" to actually be allowed to buy (pay !) and have the device :D Big joke ;)

I for now have a 314.99€ expensive paperweight, without even bricking it (never bricked a device so far)...

Next one, likely the next Nexus ... if the rumours are true, 5.9" and Motorola...

I'm done getting anything else than Nexus devices. And if Nexus line is to die ... I'll just have to reactivate a old hobby, not that there weren't enough ;)

Next Note 4 looks to be awesome in hardware but I hate TW bloatware too. Next Nexus looks tempting too.

Thnig is, whatever device I got myself so far, I always ended up trying to run something AOSPish on it ... and by that ended up with running something unstable or having to make some sort of compromise like battery or mhl not working or or or ...

Nexus it is, it's just what I want, and it runs out of the box.

My Nexus 5 still has the stock rooted ROM, never formated /system since I have it, I haven't looked any further, it just felt like home ;)

Try HTC One M8. Its UI can challenge stock android.

Gave a very serious very close look at the LG G3 today, almost tempted ... then I gave a look at the G3 section on xda and saw locked bootloader etc. etc. etc.

Which luckily for me reminded me of the simplicity to unlock a Nexus, just a "fastboot oem unlock" command, period.

Since I'm not so keen on geting back to my S-OFF / S-ON times, only Nexus it will be from here on ;)

Also Nexus oder Oppa find. Wenn heute ein neues etwas größeres Nexus rauskäme, wäre meine Entscheidung klar
