Worked fine for me, and since I needed a custom recovery, and by that I would blow the eFuse, I didn't care about that.

Nope, it was buggy back then, bootlooping on Nandroid restore, so I went with Chenglu's CWM.

Works, backup and restore (needed a few times already ;)).

Sorry no can do, a few reasons :

1) I don't have the device, without it it takes way more time
2) I don't have enough time to maintain what I maintain right now already
3) I will never touch an Exynos device ever again unless Samsung changes their non disclosing policy

So there's really little hope... :(

Send from my 'proudly eFused' Note 3 (n9005) running Yank555.lu v0.2-beta2 kernel.

Just a small hint of what's brewing, since I got to work on this kernel yesterday a little as well as today after the i9300 4.3 rush ;)

Here's what's upcoming today, there will be a MI7 and a MJ7 version to support both firmwares, while the MJ7 won't be tested as I'm still at MI7 :

  • added CPU overclock up to 2.5GHz (faux123)
  • added powersuspend v1.0 (earlysuspend replacement by faux123)
  • updated powersuspend to v1.1 : remove userspace initiator need (Yank555.lu)
  • updated powersuspend to v1.2 : make kernel / userspace mode switchable (Yank555.lu)
  • added dynamic fsync v1.5 (faux123)

Kernel Update

OK, so it's been long for not much result ...

With earlydemand gone from the 3.4.y kernel, that needed addressing first, and took a bit of time to get "replaced" (thanx to faux123 for the base idea !) Without this, not much would be possible, dynamic fsync is one first thing that's possible again now.

Then I've been losing a whole afternoon on OC, not that it's complicated to OC, what's a mess is to allow for UC once the additions steps are in, in other words, mpdecision, the userspace CPU driver by Qualcomm, will use the whole scope no matter what, and it's closed source !

So that was just a learning afternoon to get to know my new enemy. Next time we meet, I'll be the winner :D

Changelog v0.2-beta3

  • added powersuspend v1.0 (earlysuspend replacement by faux123)
  • updated powersuspend to v1.1 : remove userspace initiator need (Yank555.lu)
  • updated powersuspend to v1.2 : make kernel / userspace mode switchable (Yank555.lu)
  • added dynamic fsync v1.5 (faux123)

Be certain to pick the kernel which fits your firmware (before MJ6 or MJ6 and above) !!!
