It is pretty dang stable for tmo. We are getting awesome Battery as well. So I'm pumped for a yank cm kernel

CM11 is a breath of fresh air, all working perfectly well for me, the kernel as well, except touchwake, but that I will fix tomorrow :D

@technov2 : You should really give it go, it's way faster ;)

@jdidtht : The CM kernel is here.

I'll wait till you've killed a few pesky niggles first, then adopt. Have they really made it faster? Or is it just allowing systemui to take more resources to "seem" snappier. Often things get over coded in an attempt to add more features. I'm getting an hour plus per 10% of battery at the minute with an antutu score of 38300 and a really snappy phone. "Not based on anturu score" it's just a verification that things are working as is.

Very dubious at the minute. want to, new and shiny things n all. I remember from note 2 to note 3 losing lots of things I liked.

Wierd, doesn't fully boot on tmo. Not what I was expecting. I've been spoiled using mismatch kernels... Temasaks kernel works which I find strange.

It is really snappier, and no, TW has way way more 'fancy stuff' built in, CM is almost AOSP. Antutu I can't say as I really don't care about benches, they're nothing worth taking the time for imho.

But yes, You'll lose everything Samsung, which on a Note x can be more than you want, like S-Pen functions, but I don't care personally, that never was the reason I got a Note 3, just wanted fast CPUs, 3Gb RAM and a big display ;)

And sound isn't perfect (dunno for music, haven't gotten there yet, speaking about system sounds.

Kernelwise, my quick-hack kernel made in a few hours needs fixing 2 things I know of, OC isn't working (so yes, CM is way faster at 2.2 compared to TW at 2.5, I noticed the OC freq weren't used by looking at the stats !) and TouchWake isn't working at all.

But that's because CM kernel base is slightly different to Samsung's.

Hmm ... strange.

But we really should discuss CM in the other thread :D
