Indirectly are you saying that 320MHz is the min Samsung's default GPU frequency? If it's not, then why 320MHz is being depicted on the screen?

No there is no min you can set, min is simply 200MHz the smallest freq in the table. The only thing you can set is max.

So now if you set max to 320, it will be allowed to use freq. between 200 and 320.

It's the same logic as with the CPU, just you don't get to decide about min.

The value you see in faux clock above the slider for max is the current freq, your 320MHz, which is a freq. it seems to like quite a lot.

Min freq. is displayed nowhere and 200 is the smallest I've seen so far, I could check in the sources if there's anything lower.

Thanks. So meaning to say that GPU will always stays on 320MHz even while there's no workload and/or just staring on the screen? Sorry if I've asked too much :P but m just very curious on this part.. Shouldn't it be settled down at 200MHz min instead?

by default do you mean msm-adreno-tz?

For init.d script it's weird, I see that the test named testinitd doesn't create the file testinitd.txt in the folder /storage/emulated/0/ but all the other init.d scripts create their logs in the folder /data/

EDIT : GPU Governor has much better performance than before, I have almost 60 fps on GPU test for a complex animation.

Well I can't validate if init.d are run correctly or not ... but checl the sysfs file you see in the script, if the script ran, the sysfs should be at 1, default would be 0.

Yes, msm-adreno-tz is the default GPU governor.

Look in /system/etc/init.d, there should be a file 00_simple_gpu_algorithm.

Open it, you'll see an echo 1 > /sys...

Open the the file pointed to in /sys...

It should contain 1 if init.d worked correctly.
