Unfortunately :(

Thanx a lot Samsung.

I was really p*ssed yesterday, actually still are, so much in fact I swore this time this is my last Samsung for real, I already said so when I was on i9300 and nevertheless got me this Note 3, a mistake tbh.

A really nice device, but a cr*ppy company with stupid politics :(

Hey yank I'm a little confused
1st why are there 2 TW based kernel is one a collab with faux
And second isn't the new TW the mj6 firmware
But I'm still getting loops could you shed some light
And I did read the whole of both threads which seem to be identical

This one (in this thread) is faux's, I just handle n9005 for him to take off some load from his shoulders.

Faux's kernel is not yet available for KitKat, don't ask me when, I can't say.

The other one is my own kernel, pretty close to stock, but it's been discontinued, so my kernel is stopped at TW 4.3 (no KitKat version of my kernel). My kernel is only continued for CM11.

Any reason for discontinuing the features sound really great
not enough downloads?

Just to be precise, the kernel being discontinued is not faux's (this thread's kernel will go on !), it's merely in pause as faux has a lot going on in his real life, good stuff, but taking up most of his time.

About my kernel (in this thread), I discontinue the TW version, because of mainly 2 reasons :

1) I'm pretty much fed up with Samsung because of the "you need to upgrad the bootloader for Kitkat, which there is no technical reason for whatsoever, plus you can't downgrade it again or you'll brick your device" (for now only canadian model seems to be downgradable)

2) Since I run CM11 as my daily ROM, and it only boots on the old bootloader, I can't update my bootloader without losing my daily ROM, so I would have to make the TW KitKat kernel blindly (without being able to test it myself), and I've accepted making a kernel blindly for a device I didn't own, once, but never again, not being able to debug your kernel if something's off is pure hell, costs you 100x more time, which I just don't have.

So in essence, I just continue on my CM11 kernel (in this thread) as I need it for myself, and I thus can properly test it before making it publicly available.

Is faux waiting for you to make a kk kernel for sm-n900t or what's his plan I asked him in his g+ but he was vague.. I know he's busy with child and your busy as well , but we could use a real developed kernel, I know there was a shit ton of changes from 4.3 to 4.4 that make it more work and I'd throw a 10 spot your way to help the cause.. Lol probably no bribe in the world would help but need some real developer action not just git farmers who don't understand how a kernel works slapping features in just cause they think its cool.
