GPU boost will give the GPU a kick in the butt as soon as you touch the screen, since touching the screen in general means GPU activity is ahead.

Should make the device snappier. But it obviously needs adjusting ;)

hi,

what's cpu-booster ( in noob-ish, please :P), and will it interfere with my faux clock app?

How can I put this...

When work is migrated from one core to another (like when hutplugging off on core), the new core is broufht up to the speed of the previous core for a short time, so the governor has time to actually notice the new load.

Hope that was not too gibberish ;)

No problem with fauxclock at all.

When you say it needs adjusting, do you mean it isnt well coded yet?

And i have the beta 4 with GPU booster what are the cons to use it besides slow boot..

Other cons, no clue, but the slow boot is a clear no-go.

Adjusting means fix the slow boot.

Amazing battery life on this kernel.. not babying it by any means.. overclocked to 2.496 NO power saving on, wifi on, mobile data, one gmail account sync, debloated, few custom little tweaks here and there.undervolted cos i can :) . but getting a good 8+ hours screen time a day with intellidemand, ads at least 40% screen time compared to stock kernel.
And on the plus side a good 3800 on antutu... With VERY little fluctuation s as the under volt means I can run 5 consecutive tests with only the slightest thermal throttling. . Took a few screen shots as we all like proof, and that was with a 10 min stint on a game as well. .. really impressed with this kernel, turned my note 3 into a beast like my note 2 was

This is my second note 3, both bin 2 but this one is 3x as stable, must've got a good cpu cur from the centre of the slice. Very little leakage.

btw.. had to disable power suspend, seems to be causing the phone to die in its sleeps, needing a hard reboot

Ok, an update on the kernel.. had to revert back to stock for now.. Random freezing while asleep, this was with under volted andstock frequencies. Also wasn't playing nice with stock camera app, while taking burst shots it'd freeze and not save any.forcing a hard reset. Also heavy stuttering while recording video, this was saving to internal and external memory Other than that all good, but until these are sorted I can'tuse as a daily runner awesome battery life though.. could also cause a hard reset by opening and closing lots of apps quickly

all other faux app settings were returned to stock and standard and still had exact same faults

And you are certain you were using the right kernel for your ROM ?

What is the filename of the kernel and the build of your ROM ?
