It's a 50/50, if there are only kernel-side commits, then yes, if there are also ROM-side commits, depends...

I'll update the kernel again when I'm at home later.

CM11 Beta Kernel Update

Updated to CM sources as of 20140723. MDNIE is back in, it was not an issue, but I did a tiny code review on it while I was at it

Before I flash it again, can you tell me if you have any issue with Superuser prompt ? I cannot touch on "Allow", while I can "Refuse". It's like the touch on ImageButton is disabled (not that button is visible and enabled).
It happens to me on v117 + leankernel v3.4

Before I flash it again, can you tell me if you have any issue with Superuser prompt ? I cannot touch on "Allow", while I can "Refuse". It's like the touch on ImageButton is disabled (not that button is visible and enabled).
It happens to me on v114 + leankernel v3.4

That is nothing kernel related, but recovery. If you don't need to "reroot", always answer no to that question. It will replace the su binary, which may then not be the one you wanted.

To which question ? I have no question to answer since CM11 is already rooted. When I reboot in recovery I have no question like "You ROM seems not to be rooted, do you want to flash SuperSU" (I had that when I had flashed non-rooted ROM)

I use TWRP. And when I flash Temasek v118 only, then there are no issue.
When I flash v1.1 beta15 over, then I have the issue. It makes me think it's related to the combo ROM/kernel.
It was the same think with Temasek v114 + leankernel v3.4

It is weird.

EDIT : I may have to precise what's going on. The Superuser prompt I told you about is the prompt when a new application asks for SU right. And in this prompt I can't touch on "Allow" while the ImageButton is here visible and enabled. it's just like a classic image, not an ImageButton since nothing happening when I touch on it. No "touch" effect and nothing happens.

EDIT2 : I may move to SuperSU, I have always sticked to Superuser as it is open source and built-in CyanogenMod ROMs.
