[hlte][2014/DEC/07][CM11/12] Yank555.lu kernel v1.1c-beta6

Hey Yank thanks for many updates!
I just wanted to report that I got reboots with v1.0b-beta15 mostly at startup. And I had one reboot with yankdemand governor.
V1.1 beta7 is rock stable for me.
I'm on old bootloader MJ1 and I use W03's SlimKat rom and your default kernel settings.
Except I set screen on max freq stock N3 value 2,26ghz & wakeup kick delay to 1 sec and disable touch wake.
I'm also intrested in to know about how Hysteresis & threshold value work? Which are configurable via faux clock app

Cheers & love your work!

*demand governors were added just as test and by no means meant to be a 'suggested use'.

Hysteresis will make the decision more or less 'jumpy', kind of 'decide based on x last values average', smaller = jumpier.

Threshold is as it's called, a limit. it's the size of the run quese.

I use conservative, 8 and 2500.

I'm finally getting around to trying an AOSP rom on my note 3, and in doing so, I lost the fast charge ability when I installed a CM11 nightly build. Doing some searching brought me here, and I've installed this kernel, but Galaxy Charging Current Pro is still only reporting a 1000mA charge rate when used with the wall charger. Any thoughts?

What it reports is what it 'allows' to charge based on the 'request' (fast charge rate if fast charge is enabled) reduced to the best stable rate ... try a different cable and/or if you can charger.

Fast charging is working fine on my end.

I'm using the OEM charger/cable. I get the 1800mA charge rate on a stock touchwiz rom/kernel.

I went back and tried the CM11-20140409-hlte v1.0a (16/05/2014) kernel (since that's where I was originally pointed, just figured a later beta would be better) and that's reporting 1100mA

OEM cables and charger have been known to be rather low quality for Samsung ... you can't also compare TW with CM...

I get a full 1800-2000mA/h on my CM kernels using the OEM charger with a rather high end USB 3 cable. Never failed me once.

As for the freeze and reboot issues I've been facing on the "new unified" CM, which I don't have on the old (hltexx, pre-unification) CM, this may be worth a read :

I was able to catch something in Logcat while it was happening. Basically, my freezes are exactly as described here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpos ... tcount=848

I wish I saved the Logcat, because it said something like "Input ignored due to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" (I forgot what the xxxx'es was). So anytime you'd touch the screen or press any button, it would give that error message because the SOC was busy or something, rendering the entire device useless, and the only way you could reboot was to pull the battery.

Also, I'm on the latest Temasek v107, and when I install Yank kernel 1.1 beta 7, I get no video. The phone itself works, because you can actually touch the device and feel it vibrating and hear sounds...there's just no picture.

Any idea how to fix this yank?

What kind of videos are you talking about? I'm on 1.1 beta and haven't got any issues playing videos....
