Is beta6 still compatible with latest temasek CM12 (v2.6)? I know temasek has updated his kernel but I don't know if there are compatibility issue with yours.

Only one way to know ;)

I'm a bit busy getting my Nexus 6 kernel up, so no time to check myself ...

All I can tell for sure, no f2fs support so far in my CM12, but except for that, I guess it should be fine.

I'll flash it and report back if I have any issue! Thanks for your answer.

By the way, what do you think about Nexus 6? Is it worth changing from Note 3to Nexus 6?

EDIT : sometimes there are issues with videos playback (and sometimes toggling "NuPlayer" off/on fixes it, but sometimes not, it is strange), I'll provide logcat here and on xda if it happens again.

EDIT2 : sorry another question : what do you think about intellimm? I have set it before. But I'm back on interactive (temasek kernel) and it is really good too. It is hard to find which is better... I may be back to yankactive on your kernel.

If you run a source based ROM, you can indeed consider it, Nexus is the paradise of source based stuff.

The Note 3 has likely the better camera, still, the stylus (I hardly ever used, though) and probably looks 'better' or much smaller than it actually is.

Starting to get fond of the 6, not love at first sight, but the Nexus 5 wasn't either, and I'm totally in love with it by now :)

Can always help, thought might just as well be a ROM issue or a lack of source issue...

I'm a fan of intellimm, best governor I ever ran on ANY device, gives me 4-5 SOT at 2.5GHz on my Nexus 5 !!

Reminds me of zzmoove days on i9300.

Both gave snappy devices with battery saving at the same time. If I had more time, I have a beta of zzmoove in the kernel, but it needs some 'attention' still :(

Oh well, I always run an AOSP based ROM, don't know why, but I have always preferred them... :)
I have heard that Nexus 6 camera is really great, and this is a jump from Nexus 5. Didn't know Note 3 camera still better one year after ^^. But as far as I'm concerned i am not a photowhore anyways.

Ok i'll let you know.

Ok ok, I have set intellimm for the moment, and will let you know.
With interactive on temasek kernel I had good battery consumption when device was idling.

It is, but Nexus 5 camera is far from as bad as many say. Both Nexus 5 and 6 also have optical image stabilisation, big plus for video (Note 4 has OIS now) if you care (I don't use video).

Photos are a tid better on the Note 3, compared to the Nexus 5, Nexus 6 I can't say I have tested much so far...

I'll upload a few Nexus 5 pics I took in Barcelona this fall (mostly nightshots and panoramas).

@yank555, dont know why, init script does not want to be fully generated. Everything about CPU is skipped. First setting is simple algorithm for GPU. I have flashed 3 times yet, with wipe cache. It is weird...

The zip hasn't changed in ages ... guess depends on recovery being friendly with Aroma...

I use CWM on Note 3 but twrp on Nexus 5 and I use the very same Aroma Installer, so far all fine on my end...

It has already happened to me and you told me to wipe cache. I have made that but still no go. Will try again.

I know, it's frustrating, Aroma is a nice tool, but on some recoveries it just doesn't work reliably :(

Worst I had to do was format cache, that's all. Do you have the option to format (mkfs) cache instead of wipe (rm -rf) ?

I love this kernel and what it does for my battery life, but I discovered that I do not receive incoming calls at all with this kernel. Has anyone else encountered this issue or know how to fix it? I am using the default yank555 settings on the aroma installer.
