[hlte][2014/DEC/07][CM11/12] Yank555.lu kernel v1.1c-beta6

Ok, I didn't clean flash since I went cm12, so that doesn't look like an issue. To rule out all, I would clean flash, including wiping system....

I truly have experienced only one issue. Stock camera is acting weird from not taking a picture to taking it upside down. But Google camera is working absolutely fine.

Hello.

1.1b-CM11 seems to work very well for me (thankfully, since there are virtually no CM kernels for N9005, which I find weird), aside for one issue:

-It breaks LED notifications and all settings related to the screen. As in: entering "display and lights" in Settings causes Settings to force close.

I use CM11-snapshot-M12-hlte with stock CM kernel. If anyone has an idea about the reason for this, I'll be very grateful.

Did you test it on clean install? Never had such issues on cm11 and yank kernel.

Sounds rather new to me, too ? Had CM11 running myself as daily for quite some time...

You are using the CM11 kernel, not CM12 ?

Hello,
I use this rom: cm-11-20141127-NIGHTLY-hlte, can you put kernel for CM-12?
If not, who should be put for CM-11?
May be W03, but I dont have Slim Rom.
Thank you.

Ehr. I don't get quite what you're asking here. A cm12 kernel for a cm11 rom?

There is cm11 kernels in this thread as well.

Well your ROM is CM11, not CM12, hence use the kernels listed below this in the Changelog post :

=======================================================
Kernels below are intended for CM11 (Android 4.4.x)
=======================================================

Just as for you car, if it's a gaz, you don't use diesel ;)

I don't expect big changes to CM11 anymore (from CyanogenMod) forcing kernel updates, but even if there are, I don't think I'll update the CM11 kernel anymore, lollipop is out, so CM12 should be the focus now.

There is cm11 kernels in this thread as well.

I was looking topic that says CM-11, in this write CM-12 and so went astray.
If writing CM-11 & CM-12 I would simply look for the link CM-11.
Sorry my english is not good, I use google translate.

Ok, so I just did a totally clean install of Temasek's CM12 V1, restored apps and set everything up. Then installed Yank kernel and this time kept most things closer to Yank settings. Perfect. Don't know what caused my home screen stutter but everything's fine now! Thanks :)

Almost nothing a clean install won't fix 8-)
