If one video stucks, then I won't be able to play any HD videos.

PS : will you continue your CAF kernel ?

PS2 : W03 SlimKat deCAF + your kernel was really pleasant :)

Likely so, I have a full CAF kernel which we currently use to test Will's CAF SlimKAT, no idea if it would play nice on CM...

When I have time I could spin an update of my CM CAF kernel... but won't have time before next week.

Ok thanks anyways :).

Well I do love Slim ROMs, but I think I prefer CM-based ROMs because of some features.
I may be back to SlimKat sooner than I planned though... ^^

The video driver ran out of memory, and this after only about a little over 2h !?

I don't have any similar behaviour on Slim, so no idea what's indeed eating up your memory... and the kernel is 99.9% the same, only diff is vibrator settings sysfs path (no impact whatsoever) and flipcover support removed from kernel (so no impact either)...

Look at the attachments...

I'll try to spin a kernel without Update8 update, just in csse that works better for you... I can't say I saw any benefit, so removing it should be fine.

But at best this could happen this evening (in 12-14h)

Hah ! I jynxed it by my previous post, guess what happened in the meantime ... apps closing !

So one more good reason to try without Update 8 in the kernel, we'll see how this goes ;)

Well I was using browsing (Google Chrome, incognito tabs, don't know if it has its importance) and I saw glitches with multi colors and then the screen goes black, but the device was still ON.
It happens one time but before I was running it good.

Ok no problem, I'll tell you if I have something going wrong today (I'm at work, may not use hardly my phone)

Hehe... It is really strange when apps silent close. And I do use Lux, so it is even weird because brightness increases roughly ^^ when it silent closes.
