do I have to do something special to encrypt my device? I'm not thinking, I've done something into that direction.

Never tested encryption ... so maybe there's an issue there ?

So, this kernel works flawlessly.

In my opinon, everything is a bit slow and somehow laggy. I don't know if that is from the settings I've made in Trickster mod. (eg performance is set as default governour, I've set yankactive as governour)

But my battery dropped, while flashing, from 48 to 12%.

Some preferences aren't shown in Trickster Mod. Is it necessary to set them again, or shoudln't I do that?

Start by keeping the settings in Aroma (don't just flash the kernel, that's rather pointless as you don't use anything of what's added inside ;)) and don't use kernel apps and see how it works.

What you can do is inceease touchboost freqs if you find it tok 'laggy' for your taste, though I find the settings pretty snappy, but yes my settings are more on the battery side.

Best app to control the kernel is faux, but I only use it to 'check' the settings are correctly applied (always wait at least 2 minutes after boot before you check.

JP.

PS: Battery drop during flash seems extreme, though that's a recovery issue, since that's what running while you flash.

SlimLP Beta Kernel Update

OK, so here's a tiny changelog for a more than worthy addition, welcome faux's latest intellimm governor. I really like it ... like ... a lot ! It really makes a very ballanced use of the CPU freqs, keep an eye on them using cpu spy or similar apps. I guess if you're on the highend gaming trip, this may not be for you, but you can try, the browsing users like myself will very likely be VERY pleased with it !

Changelog v1.2-beta1 (01/12/2014)

  • added intellimm governor (faux123)

I still got the bootlooping thing.
Your newest kernel and the 0.7 slim alpha. Slim with slim kernel out of the box works like a chram, but as soon I flash your kernel it won't boot anymore. If i flash another kernel eg faux. I boot's but it reboots after the Lockscreen appeard

I've been on SlimLP from first alpha, no problem whatsoever so far, so no clue what could be the problem :(

Encrypted data partition ? I don't have ine encrypted and never tried that.

I don't have a clue how i could pull last_kmsg, without getting not much further than the google logo.

Some Combinations worked, others didn't.

Nope I haven't activated that, and also never tried it.
