I've updated my SlimLP yesterday (all 4 decices), running M on my N5 atm.

I might update both N5 and N6 kernels tonight if I get to it.

JP.

Sent from my Nexus 6 running Yank555.lu SlimLP 5.1.1 on Yank555.lu v1.0 kernel.

Thanks, let us know :)

Ended up working on SlimRecents, there an issue that's bugging me, home button sometimes doesn't work (Griff is om it, too).

Well it's WIP, so to be expected :D

But no kernel work again ... there are just not enough hours in a day :(

I know ... today I took my Subaru out to a trackday, still far from getting back home ;)

Tomorrow I should find some time, will test if new stuff is usable on 5.1.1 as well.

The kernel is done, but with SlimLP 5.1 ramfs, won't likely work on M preview.

I'll compile with M preview ramfs later today(downloadng M preview to get boot.img), gotta go now ;)

SlimLP 5.1.x was uploaded just before I posted.

M preview not yet, just got back home, will compile in a minute ;)

But I won't be able to test it, so this will be up to you ;)

Kernel Update

I've updated the kernel to M preview sourcedrop, it's available for use both on slimLP 5.1.x and Google M preview (not tested, though !).

For the M preview users, this kernel will not force encryption and it will not overwrite recovery on every boot.

Download links are in the 2nd post as usual.

Android M is downloadable from Google (http://developer.android.com/preview/download.html), flash through fastboot (carefull, you will loose ALL your data !).

You could also just fullwipe, flash bootloader and radio manually, as well as system, flash my kernel and reboot, this way your data should remain untouched, and you would stay decrypted in case you're not encrypted.

Full M preview will encrypt the device.

In any case, do a Nandroid and backup all your data from your device to your PC !!
