Yank on your ROM, do you have a delay on the screen when you press the power button?

Nope, but you may run into sth many run into, look in settings, display, therer's an option to prevent accidental wakeup, that will impede the power button to work if the proxy is triggered.

You might want to disabke it, or, be careful to not cover the proxy when switching on the device ;)

I'm a Nexus guy, don't intend to buy anything but Nexus as long as OEMs don't publish full device trees so I can properly compile ROMs from source without hacky experimental stuff and always here and there stuff not working.

I appreciate to focus on adding functionality instead of chasing bugs :D

Yank...

I have a couple of questions

1. What does intelliplug do at screen off...
ie: one or two core limit

2. Any suggestions on how to curb the msm_hsic_host wakelock from userspace?

Side note... You have a spelling mistake in your init script with msm-adreno-tz... You have mcm...

Preference question...
Why do you run intelliplug in conservative.... You're only using two cores?

Intelliplug (from what I remember, can't check, on vacation) defaults to single-core when screen is off, but I could be wrong.

Nothing included in my kernel to do that, imoseyon I think implemented sth like that in his kernel. I don't seem to suffer from that issue myself, though.

Opps crap ! Thx for seeing this ;) ... will need to fix that !

rignfool wrote:Preference question...

Conservative will use all 4 cores, only 'eco' modes use 2 cores, but conservative won't overhappily turn cores on, I prefer it that way, it's snappy to me like that, I don't see the use to 'waste' more juice for no benefit in my use case.

Edit :

Look at the screenshot, you will see cores sometimes do peak at 4 cores when it's needed.

SlimLP Kernel update

Arter's adreno-idler should help achieve better screen on times.

Changelog v1.1 (26/06/2015)

  • added adreno-idler driver v1.1 by arter97
  • disabled powersuspend dmesg debugging log
  • disabled CPU hardlimit dmesg debugging log
  • ramfs: updated to SlimLP 5.1 20150625
  • Aroma settings : intelliplug threshold default set to 3500 (instead of 7500)
  • Aroma settings : charging LEDs set to disabled by default (ROM handled by now)
