This is even worse than not giving credit, it's stealing credit.
But Chad has a record of doing it, I'm just another name on the list from whom he stole credit...

I just wonder how someone can feel good knowing it's a lie, but anyway, if that makes him happy
As I said on G+, if he needs to steel something as easy as that to code, all I can say is, it's a proof of deep lack of coding skills on his end

as everyone's off-topic....
I have to say that i used his kernel on my old htc sensation.
It was the most performant kernel in my eyes.
however, i do not care that much about that stuff - i just want a performant phone
in my eyes, the gpl does not force you to unveil any source if you publish the kernel in a private forum...
and that's what it's about, right?
yank555 wrote:No, it's about taking what I did, and putting his name under it and claiming it's his work. And by that saying I am the one who would have stolen from him in fact... that's cynical and very insulting to the hours of work I've put into it !
That is as wrong as it gets !
All he did is replace 'by Yank555.lu' by 'Copyright Chad' ... is that right ? Is that helping open source stay open ?
See next thing I can do, is continue my work, and just keep it to myself...
That would have made Note 3 have no touchwake, no fast charge, no led control, part mdnie control, in any of the kernels out there. I would have all that, so what's the gain for the public then ?
And if other devs do the same, everybody loses !
What I do is 100% free to take, use, modify (that is open source), I just want one thing, proper credit, as common sense asks.
