As stated, maybe later, likely intelliplug rather than msm_hotplug but that's still open...

For now mpdecision is doing a decent job, now it's under control by Hardlimit :)

CM11 Beta Kernel Update

Nothing major, just a Linux upstream and CM11 kernel upstream, not enough for a 1.0b final ;)

Changelog CM11-20140409-hlte v1.0b (16/05/2014)

  • updated to CM source as of 20140517
  • updated Yankactive : applied same change as on interactive
  • updated to kernel.org Linux 3.4.91

I'm actually on this béta kernel with your settings :) (set by default on aroma installer) and it works great for now.

Thanks a lot Yank.

Edit : some precision about touchwake, sometimes it works by double clicking with finger, sometimes the phone doesn't wake up, is this normal? Maybe a misconfiguration of me :). In fact it works only when double tap on screen to power off the screen, then power on by double tap.

Touchwake only needs a single tap to wake.

If you turn the device off with the power key, touchwake will not be enabled, that's by design, powerkey = "I want my device to be off".

Touchwake is intended to wake the device when it times out.

Double-tapping the statusbar is like timing out, as it turns the device off without using the power key ;)

JP.

PS: Btw, flipcover support will not trigger touchwake, as it is properly detected as a powerkey press.

Ok so now all is clear, I learned something today :).

Btw I don't use flipcover I have an UAG protection and a SPIGEN Glass 9H for the screen :)

Another question, there is no intelliplug for CM Kernel? I didn't see this option in Faux Clock.

Nope, the CM kernel is "close to stock CM", it's not a "faux123 CM" kernel, it's a "yank" kernel, it's what I run on a daily basis ;)

Have a go at the changelog, you'll see more precisely what's in and what's not.

Ok, thanks for the answer, it's just walking like a charm with your settings ;-)

I was just asking myself if it's normal that it doesn't appear or if it was a bug from CM11 :-D.

Your kernel is just what I was looking for, battery friendly, snappy, reactive, no overheating, my note 3 is just as smooth as I want it to be.

CM11 Beta Kernel Update

Just had a few spare minutes...

Again nothing major, updated to latest CM sources, added simple GPU algorithim (available in Aroma, don't change the default GPU governor though, keep the default or this will not work !) and fixed a tiny derp in powersuspend, nothing bad, just hybrid mode could not be set back once it was changed.

Changelog CM11-20140526-hlte v1.0b-beta5 (27/05/2014)

  • added Simple GPU Algorithm (faux123)
  • updated powersuspend to v1.4 - fix changing back to kernel-hybrid mode not working (Yank555.lu)
  • updated to CM source as of 20140526

Read the changelog ! Touchwake defaults to 5 minutes now, not 5 seconds anymore, better for me with flipcover !

PS: I'm booting it for the first time now, so you're testing with me ;)
