CM11 Beta Kernel UpdateBeen away a week, but been testing latest intelli-plug in my kernel (though I've gone back to old hltexx CM 20140127, as it's still just the better CM for now...).
To control intelli-plug/-thermal, best for now is to use faux clock (which also has support for my hardlimit !), I will add settings to Aroma when I get to it.
As for ondemand and yankdemand, no clue if those now work fine or not, so try them knowing they may cause reboots still...
Changelog CM11-20140517-hlte v1.0b-beta15 (29/06/2014)- updated to CM source as of 20140608
- added tcp: add a sysctl to config the tcp_default_init_rwnd (usefull on 4.4.3, JP Abgrall)
- added intelli_plug 3.7 in-kernel hotplug driver (faux123)
- added intelli_thermal in-kernel thermal engine (faux123)
- added ondemand governor again
- added Yankdemand governor again (Yank555.lu)
- updated to kernel.org Linux 3.4.95
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've also rebased my kernel to CM sources, without upstreaming Linux (so it's still 3.4.0) and without any under the hood optimizations, so in functionality this kernel is the same as above, but without Linux updates and without "hidden" updates.
For now I will maintain both variations, call one the "advanced" kernel (v1.0x), the other the light (v1.1x), you'll tell me which one is the better candidate
